Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena, Division Chief, DOST-TAPI, presented to the stakeholders the Technology Transfer in the DOST during the Forum-Seminar on International and National Policies on Technology Transfer and Licensing dated 21 May 2018.
The lecture articulated on practical examples, implementation mechanisms and lessons learned in carrying out transfer of technologies derived from publicity funded research. The Topics discussed were the historical background of RA No. 10055, also known as the “Philippine Technology Transfer Act of 2009”; policies and guidelines; programs and projects in support to commercialization of technologies; modes of technology transfer; actual cases and issues and concerns.
