Invent School Program training-workshop cum OJT for Pisay series conducted in CAR

Kalinga and Mountain Province – The TAPI Invent School Program conducted the Invent School Training-Workshop cum On-the-Job Training for Philippine Science High School (Pisay) for the Cordillera Administrative Region Leg. In coordination with DOST-CAR, two (2) events were held at Kalinga State University and at Ridgebrooke Hotel, Bontoc, Mountain Province on 11-12 and 22-23 April 2019, respectively.

OJT for Pisay is an on-going project with DOST-HRDP entitled “Capacity Building for the Philippine High School (PSHS) for the Invent School Implementation.” This project aimed to train Pisay to be part of the mentors/trainors pool and a strategic partner of TAPI in implementing the Invent School.

This event is the second among the four (4) legs of OJT for Pisay. The NCR leg was held in March and Cebu and Davao legs will be next to complete the OJT series.

A total of 60 students in Kalinga and 73 students Mountain Province participated for the CAR.
