Tech Trans Officers Get Ready to Protect their Technologies

The Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) through the Support to the Commercialization of 500 DOST-Generated Technologies and Strengthening the Country’s Intellectual Property and Technology Portfolios (DOST 500 Program) will conduct Basic Intellectual Property (IP) and Invention Disclosure Training-Workshop on 23 January 2020 at the TAPI Audio-Visual Room, DOST Compound, Taguig City.

Previous Basic IP and Invention Disclosure Training-Workshop conducted last 18-19 December 2019 at the Holiday Inn & Suites, Makati City.

The training-workshop which aims to equip the Department’s technology transfer officers in protecting their technologies will be participated by 60 participants from the Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI), the Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI), and the Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI).

With Atty. Bayani Loste of the Fortun Narvasa and Salazar Law Offices, as resource speaker, the participants are expected to develop business model canvas and IP disclosures for their technologies to be filed at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL).
