Brief Description / Features of the technology:
The present utility model/technology relates to a datalogger that can be configured to store/record, and acquire data such as but not limited to, air pressure, air temperature, air humidity, wind speed and direction, rain amount, rain duration, rain intensity among others. The said device gathers data automatically without human intervention while data transmission is done through the use of GSM/GPRS and/or Satellite. With proper configuration, the said device can also be used in other applications depending on the type of sensor to be integrated. It can also be used to control other remote electronic devices or systems.

- In addition to the intelligent power saving scheme, it has low operating power consumption making it suitable to renewable energy sources;

- The device system settings can be configured remotely and its firmware can be upgraded remotely using over-the-air (OTA) programming.
