It also known to have bronchodilating effect as such is used in the treatment of bronchospasm in acute bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis & other bronchopulmonary disorder. This is also used for relief of reversible, mild to moderate bronchospasm (prophylactic/ maintenance medication) in adults and children with obstructive airway disease.
